We accept healthy and friendly dogs that are current on all vaccines: All dogs older than 6 months must be spayed or neutered.
Dogs must behave in a non-aggressive friendly manner towards other dogs, and not be protective of food or space.
All dogs must enter and exit our facility on a leash and in control of their guardians.
Unfortunately our insurance does not allow us to accept Staffordshire Terriers, Pit Bulls, or any Bull breeds in our daycare and slumber party programs, but we would love to accommodate them in our suites and condos!
All doggies must be droppped off before 12:00 noon
-Rabies
-Bordatella which is for Kennel Cough (6 month protocol)
Proof from a veterinarian is required for the above vaccinations.
First Day of Daycare
On your dog's first day, our trained staff slowly introduces your dog to the other dogs. Some dogs jump right in; others may take some time to get used to the facility prior to the introduction to other dogs. This is all done without the owners present, as dogs are expert body language interpreters and your dog as well as the other dogs in day care can sometimes feed on the anxiety/excitement of the new dog’s owner. We do the introduction without the owners to prevent an inaccurate assessment of your dog’s behavior.
The first day needs to be at least four hours long, because some dogs need more time to be fully introduced to the other dogs. If your dog is adjusting well after four hours, he or she can stay all day. We require an emergency contact on this day. The emergency contact is someone who is able to pick up your dog in a reasonable amount of time should it be determined this is not the right setting for your dog. The charge for one day of day care is $18. We do give discounts if you plan on bringing your dog in for more daycare days during that week (see our pricing page for more information!)
What to bring for Daycare
You are welcome to bring a snack or lunch for your doggie to enjoy. As we have a very natural environment, we do not do any kind of lock down or forced napping – doggies naturally rest at about mid day, and doggies with snacks enjoy them separately at this time. We do not feed your dog anything that you do not provide.
Please do not bring toys or beds from home. It is group-play and things can get dirty and torn up easily. We provide toys, balls, and beds. It is better to have our things torn up than yours!
